 THIS WEEK:  


 Check PowerSchool---Do you have a score for last week's assignment?  If not, please take care of that today!!  After you have English with Miss Ballivian this week, in the event you would like to try what you learned about summarizing and paraphrasing to last week's assignment, you can resubmit it for a better grade.  If you are completely happy with the score you received, you are all set for Monday/Tuesday!


I have posted a copy of a Declaration of Independence Scavenger Hunt in Google Classroom and a link to it here as well!  This will be due on Friday!  Take basic information from your work last week along with what you can find using various resources this week, and see what you can do!!

WEDNESDAY/THURSDAY


  1. For Attendance today:  Send Mrs. Bearden an email  SUBJECT:  Chapter 6 --I've Had it....  (beardenp@fultonpirates.net)  Construct a formal email today of at least 3-5 sentences explaining the phrase, "It was the last straw."  Describe a situation in which this statement was true for you!
  2. View the Clip Below for some additional information on the Declaration of Independence!  We will do some activities and book work while we are away, but we will plan to watch the musical 1776 when we come back together that will bring this story to life! 




Have you ever misplaced an assignment after it was totally completed? Here are some facts that I am sure you were not aware of when it came to our Founding Fathers, and our Declaration of Independence!
