Add some more facts to your “list”
- Look over your list which one do you have more of? Your initial thoughts today---Love him or Hate him? What things stand out to you as most memorable when I mention his name?
- You are going to construct an essay, it must reflect a polished piece of formal writing. You will work on it this week, start thinking about what you want to include in it. You will need to include at least 3 good traits, 3 bad traits and be able to explain why you love him or hate him. You need to include specific stories and examples as evidence within your essay.
- Use the Prewriting form, your notes and rubric to drive your final project. This is a 40 point assignment! Quality work and good writing are expected.

- NOTES--You will be watching clips this week on the Life of Andrew Jackson. You will record personal notes as you watch. You will be listing good and bad things about him. In the end you will be asked to make a judgment call, and decide if you love him or hate him. (Note sheet available in Google Classroom)
- Watch Intro Clip For Andrew Jackson---we will link to others today and get as far as as we can get today so we can finish on Friday!

- Pick up a packet from the sub today! Your job is to complete all of it and turn it in before leaving today!
- War of 1812 Circle a Word- complete it--and then move on to the next page in the packet--
- Page 2 has the following people listed: Henry Clay, John Calhoun, Daniel Webster, and John Marshall--- Your job is to use any resources you choose and you must Locate 5 facts on these men (Look for interesting facts and things you find interesting and perhaps no one else may locate!)
- The final page asks that you locate causes and effects for the War of 1812---Google and be resourceful as you complete the worksheet.
- Using any additional time give this matching activity a try! See what you learned!
- Turn in your completed work before leaving the room today!
