Here is a clip to show how all the imposed taxes and demands by the British, united the colonists! This shows how one little messenger and one little event had such lasting effects!

October 26 & 27, 2020 ---The Proclamation of 1763

MONDAY/TUESDAY:

The British government faced several problems after the French and Indian War. One problem was how to keep the colonists and Native Americans from killing each other as settlers pushed west for new land. King George III figured if the colonists stayed to the east of the Appalachian Mountains and the Native Americans stayed west of them, everyone would be happy!!

This was called the Proclamation of 1763!
