A quick summary of the Election of 1800

WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY:

• Washington's Farewell Address Review
• Recap Jefferson and Hamilton Notes
• Finish Note Packet and Submit today
• Activity Work Time

1.  Locate the 4 candidates from the election of 1800.

2. Select one candidate--look for 2 facts you can use on a Political Poster or in an Ad campaign

3.  Using any format--create a 1 page campaign poster for your Candidate.  Make sure you include your 2 facts and graphics and symbols.

4. Today you will send ONE email to Mrs. Bearden.  In that email you will: list the 4 candidates.  Explain who became president and who became vice president.  Screen shot your ad you created and attach it   SUBJECT: ELECTION OF 1800   Email:  beardenp@fultonpirates.net

5.  If you have extra time---search Youtube for any "Campaign Ads" created for any candidate from this 1800's election (students have previously made projects--and you will be amazed at what you might find!  Bookmark anything good you find!)  I will share some with you on Friday!
